I notice that some folks are heading to purchase school supplies...well the staff at the academy is looking into organizing all binders so that all the supplies will be uniformed...So don't spend too much $$ and wait for Ms. Ava's upcoming letter...Enjoy your day with Austin and para phrasing. I can't wait to hear how your thinking is going....I miss my students and I can't wait to see you all....

Home Again... Home Again....Yeah!!

Hello to All my Students,

Can you believe that it is almost time to start again!!! Where did the summer go? I have not done all the cleaning and cooking that I needed and like to do!!

Connor has finished up with his summer lacrosse and we are done traveling up and down I 95 and I am soooo Thankful for that! He had and excellent season and learned tons! Spencer and I are very proud of him. I cannot believe that my baby is about to be a senior in high school! I do not know where all the time has gone! We have been busy visiting all different kinds of Colleges to see where he would like to continue his education. So as you all can see I have had a very busy summer. I have not had my summer fix to the beach, but St. Simons is calling me to come on down and we are heading to the beach in 6 days; the count down is upon us!

I am so excited to hear that my paraphrasing class is still alive and well in Georgia. I can't wait to hear about your discussions about Midnight Magic. Can you tell me what you all thought about Fabrizio,  Magician, or the Count?  What did you thing about this book? What did you think about the setting? Did you all make a picture in your mind about where the story took place?

I also re-read a Tiger Rising, what did you all think about that book??Let me know so that we can blog about the books. I am glad that you all are reading and posting. I am getting very excited about the new school year and I can't wait to see you all.

School starts back on the 13th of August and we are planning an open house on the 9th of August! I can't wait to see ALL my students...Enjoy the rest of your summer and keep blogging...

I went to volunteer at the Humane Society in Habersham. I walked a Border Collie mix that was named Daphne. She is so sweet and she is like a big puppy. I would like to have her but my parents won't let me. BOO HISS. I miss my school friends and hope they are having a good summer. I finished the Midnight Magic book.  It was good.  I also read the book Tiger Rising.

I am going to go see Ice Age the 4th one with my dad today. I do not want to go back to school till Aug. 20th.  Minniemouse and I are meeting together tomorrow to do some paraphrasing. BooHiss
